In 1998, the two bakers Emmanuel Rang and Øyvind Lofthus opened a small bakery in a secluded street behind the palace. It was here the adventure began. Focus on quality, few and good ingredients, and good old craftsmanship meant that the baked goods they sold quickly became among the most popular in Oslo.
