We opened for the first time here at Saga cinema in 2007. When the building was to be completely renovated in 2023, we unfortunately had to close this branch. We are therefore very pleased to be able to reopen in a new guise right next to Saga cinema. In designing our coffee bar we have based ourselves on the art deco style of the original Saga Cinema. A section of the floor pattern is reused in the counter front and the composition of tiles, niches and details in dark wood is inspired by the column design in the foyer. The ceiling lamps are original round opaline lamps from Hadeland. The ceiling height in the shop is original, and the original molded quarter circle in the transition between wall and ceiling has been preserved. The Grorud chair was designed in 1958 by Hans Brattrud and for this branch the espresso machine has got its color from the original external color of the building.
