Anno November 2009: In 1994 Kaffebrenneriet opened the branch on Theresesesgate in Bislett. It has been a long road, and challenges have of course been present. This won't work well! said one passerby when we had just opened. So fantastic said the other, and tore open the door! This is good, but you should have been on Karl Johan said the third! Is it just coffee..... said the fourth! After many years, Kaffebrenneriet finally has a shop on Karl Johan! And we think ourselves that we have done quite well and that we are good at what we do. The furnishings are no longer home-made, but basically the same in design. The barista is no longer Thomas, but has better and more expert training than back then. The customers are not the same, they are somewhat "younger", but there are still many of the same customers to see in Theresesgate now as back then. We are pleased to be at Thon Senter …
