About Credo
Credo was started in Trondheim in 1998 and was for many years one of the country's most acclaimed restaurants. In 2024, Heidi Bjerkan moved the entire business to the National Library in Henrik Ibsens gate, where Credo operates a fine dining restaurant, cafeteria, bakery and National Library bar. The tasting menu is based on Norwegian seasonal ingredients and close collaboration with farms and small producers, with preservation of food knowledge as a recurring theme. The restaurant received a Michelin star in the 2026 guide. Table reservations are recommended well in advance.
