Thon Senter Storo has in autumn 2025 incorporated the external gallery into the internal area, so we have got a larger, more open and brighter shop. All older furnishings were removed and the entire space has got new tile flooring, new acoustic ceiling and new ochre-colored tiles on the walls. New counters have got a new view direction, and focus is now towards the common area and meeting with customers, where coffee beans have also got more space in a new island landscape with the old coffee shelf wall intact on the side. Reused tables as well as new tables have been moved all the way out to the facade and accompanied by newly produced Hans Brattrud Grorud chairs designed in 1958. The tall leather sofa with reused steel has got company from four abstract paintings by Bjørg Brekke (1922-2021). New ceiling lighting is well supported by reused KB-designed grandmother lamp shades, as well as reused black industrial pendants. The espresso machine has got a new mint-turquoise color …
