About Grand Café
Grand Café is perhaps Norway's most famous café. Per Krohg's large wall painting from 1928 shows Ibsen, Munch and the rest of the era's artistic bohemia in the café, and the hotel is also where Nobel Peace Prize winners stay. After the renovation in 2016, the café appears as a modern brasserie with Norwegian ingredients, classics such as smoked salmon sandwiches and beef, as well as its own wine cellar. Breakfast is served every day, lunch Monday to Saturday and dinner Tuesday to Saturday.
